The person will be responsible to operate the Oil processing plant at BME’s Dryden Plant.
Requirements:
Grade 12
1 year demonstrated experience in an explosive’s environment.
Experience:
1 year demonstrated working experience in a plant manufacturing environment.
Duties /Responsibilities:
Meeting of daily targets in the following areas of responsibility:
Production output and productivity
o Ensuring product availability, product and process compliance to minimum quality standards
o Ensure adherence to test procedures relating to acceptance, processing and releasing of goods.
Material productivity
o Report and record all maintenance faults timeously
Adherence to sound SHERQ principles
o Timeous reporting, investigation and follow up of all safety and quality deviations
Timeous and accurate review and follow up of both manual and system generated production and engineering reports, followed by timeous corrective actions.
Job Competencies:
Proven computer literacy in Excel & MS Word
Must be able to work unsupervised, independently or as a member of a team
Proven ability to perform duties under pressure
Knowledge of the production processes
Organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet daily targets

The person will be responsible to operate the Oil processing plant. The successful candidate will be based at the BME site at Dryden.
