An opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Chargehand to supervise the activities of artisans responsible for maintaining, modifying, installation and repairs. Inspect plant or production area for scheduling maintenance or repairs as required to minimise loss of production. May be an Artisan in more than one trade e.g. welder, fitter, boilermaker, electrical/mechanical

Job Spec:
• Manage, supervise and motivate a team of workshop staff
• Manage the fleet service and maintenance program as per maintenance procedure
• Manage the stores stock with storeman • Attend regular HSE meetings and toolbox talk discussions with workshop staff
• Daily job planning/allocation
• Supervision
• Quality control
• Manage defects and liaise with Workshop managers in Tulisa Park

Requirements:
• The abilities to communicate is essential
• Ability to work adhere to predetermined Standards
• Must be able to work under pressure, after hours and shifts
• The abilities to communicate well is essential
• Deadline orientated and prepared to do adhoc tasks
