Job Description

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) is offering a unique opportunity for learners to gain valuable work experience through its 18-month Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme. The program is open to TVET College learners who have recently completed their N6 studies in Financial Management or Public Management.

We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:

Financial Management N6 (Ref: FM 2023) – 1 Position (Living with a disability)
Public Management N6 (Ref: PM 2023) – 1 Position
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Be a learner who has just completed an N6 in the field of study mentioned above.
Have been unemployed for a period of less than one year after completion of the N6.
Successful candidates will be paid a monthly stipend of R5,500 and will be responsible for arranging their own accommodation and transportation to SAWS’ Centurion Head Office. It’s worth noting that SAWS is under no obligation to employ the learner upon the completion of the program.
