Responsibilities of a Starke Ayres General Worker
As a General Worker at Starke Ayres, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with Plant Watering: Ensure plants receive the necessary hydration.
- Repacking and Restocking: Contribute to maintaining optimum stock levels.
- Grounds Maintenance: Keep the Garden Centre, sales floor, parking lot, exterior verge, and general work areas tidy.
- Cleaning Guttering and Drainage Channels: Ensure cleanliness and functionality.
- Sweeping/Blowing: Maintain cleanliness in allocated areas and surroundings.
- Nursery Stock Care: Assist in the general care of all Nursery stock.
- Housekeeping of Loading Bay: Keep loading bay and its exterior in a clean and orderly condition.
- Support in Stock Offloading and Pricing: Assist loading bay assistants with essential tasks.
- Loading Goods for Deliveries: Contribute to the smooth loading process.
- Accompanying Driver on Deliveries: Offer assistance during deliveries when required.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the company vehicle clean and tidy.
- Sales Support: Provide assistance to sales staff as needed.
- Weekend Support: Perform support duties on weekends, especially concerning bulk stock and trolley management.
Requirements
To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Matriculation: A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience as a General Worker.
