We are looking for an immediately available
Senior Export Controller
in Johannesburg for a multi-national customer clearing, freight forwarding and ships agency with offices in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Walvis Bay.

DUTIES:
•
Prepare estimates for export enquiries
•
Receive client shipment export instructions
•
Plan and co-ordinate export arrangements
•
Arrange cargo bookings
•
Arrange collection of shipments, complete customs and carrier formalities
•
Ensure compliance with carrier, customs and other government institutions’ requirements and regulations – local and international
•
Arrange to tender shipments for carriage within carrier deadlines
•
Monitor shipment progress up to delivery
•
Ensure all SLA’s and SOP’s are up to date at all times
REQUIREMENTS:
•
Matric
•
Industry related tertiary qualification (advantageous)
•
10 years’ experience in Customs, Sea, Air and Road Exports
•
Knowledge of preparing estimates for all modes of transport
•
Freight industry knowledge and experience
•
Positive work ethics
•
Meet deadlines
•
Able to work overtime
•
Team plater
•
Able to work under pressure
