We are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Underwriter for a well-established Short Term Insurance Broker company that is based in Houghton, Johannesburg. This position will be based on a hybrid structure after the first month of employment.
Minimum Requirements:
• Matric.
• FAIS qualification.
• Completed Regulatory Exams Level 5 (RE5)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Commercial Underwriter position.
• At least 3 years’ experience dealing with claims.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Producing quotes to clients within 1 day.
• Updating clients on their process of the policies.
• Client advisory on underwriting requirements in connection with claims.
• Scheduling payment arrangements.
• Client communication.
• Processed and confirmed endorsements to the client within 3 days’ time.
• Processing of renewals.
• Dealing with client and customer queries and respond within the same day of queries.
