As part of SanlamConnect, Succession Financial Planning (SFP) is a financial services provider with a focus on the Registered Financial Adviser (RFA), looking to grow a professional practice while offering holistic financial planning to their clients. SFP is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Sanlam Group.

This is a 12-month contract position allowing the incumbent to gain relevant work experience in the financial services industry. The individual will be exposed to training, mentoring and office administration whilst being part of an administrative team at SFP.

Responsibilities:
• Bringing the brief and concept to life based on the business’ needs and vision.
• Preparing mockups and presenting to the business before deciding on a final design/concept.
• Editing proofs to business specifications and getting signoff/approval before finalising artwork.
• Keeping budget, time and production constraints in mind.
• Working and collaborating with line manager, copywriters, photographers and other designers.
• Adapting and rolling out approved concepts to various media, above and below the line.
• Adhering to a client’s brand identity and guidelines.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders about progress of projects and any issues that may arise.
• Working with external departments to extend concept and visuals to other internal and external marketing-related material.
• Making sure artwork is correct and supplied in the right format/sizes/colour codes before being sent to press and production facilities.
• Work on multiple briefs at the same time.
• Oversee social media content
• Provide administration support to line manager
• Administration of adviser terminations and reintermediation
• Compile statistics with regards to financing and reports, including effective processing of statements

Requirements:
• A relevant matric qualification
• A completed Graphic Design or Digital Marketing diploma/degree
• Preferably no or very limited previous working experience

Skills:
• Successful candidate should be unemployed
• Knowledge of or experience in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, InDesign or Buffer/Fanbooster
• Knowledge of or experience in managing social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
• Be creative, adaptable to trends and conceptualise original ideas.
• Have an active interest in art/design and passionate about the work you deliver.
• Good communication skills to accurately convey your concepts to team members.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
