Main purpose of the role:
To control the receipt of Finished goods and Raw materials/Operate a high reach

Reports to:Warehouse Manager

Approved Job Grade: 1B

QUALIFICATIONS, WORK EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIRED

Education (formal qualification required):
Grade 12, Warehousing / Inventory Diploma or Degree, Experience required – type and number of years’ experience: Excellent MS Office knowledge, especially Excel, 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing and warehouse environment

Main Outputs
Receiving, Handle and manage incoming goods and materials received
Perform and execute unloading and unpacking of goods received from Toller’s/Depots/Suppliers and plants
Inspect and verify the condition of goods received
Count and verify received goods
Reconcile goods received against invoices/delivery notes/iscala transfer document
Communicate discrepancies in goods received to the Supervisor or Manager
Ensure that all necessary documents are endorsed if any discrepancies
Do random weighing of pallets on scale provided to check if tonnage is correct
Do quality inspections on goods
Fill in a goods received note and hands over to the Inventory clerk, together with all supporting documents received from the said load to process the GRN on iscala
Allocate stock in the warehouse to the correct bins as per Haz compliance
Ensure warehouse are packed according to Fifo at all times
Drive the Forklift to assist in put away and orders

General Duties
Assist with month-end stock take/weekly cycle counts, Assist with Shelve life and Warehouse Utilization reports weekly, Assist with order preparation, Assist with offloading, Maintain housekeeping standards, Assist with labelling.

As a dispatch clerk, your job duties include scheduling transportation, assigning and tracking work crews and drivers on delivery efforts, preparing work orders, and following all company regulations. The qualifications to begin a career as a dispatch clerk include a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
