Job Description
Our Supply Chain team ensures inventory is consistently available to meet customer demand. We coordinate all aspects of supply through supply planning, sourcing, making, inventory management, packaging and delivery. We partner across the Marketing, Finance and Manufacturing organizations to build a robust demand and supply plan and ensure we get products to the right customer, at the place, at the right time.
As a member of the Planning team, the Production (Shop floor) Planner/ Detailed Scheduler works cross functionally partnering with Packaging Operations, Warehouse, Technical Operations, Stability, and Quality to ensure timely supply. This position is critical to successful operations and demands an understanding of the end to end supply chain with ultimate responsibility for the overall Planning, Scheduling for the Midrand site.

Primary Activities / Responsibilities:
Balance finished goods supply and demand through SAP, exception management, and Systems Applications and Products
In coordination with the Packaging Operation Team, prioritize, sequence and communicate planned Process orders based on optimal resource allocation, availability, and constraint management
Manage, level load and report capacity utilization for months one – six
Partner with production and support areas to critically analyze and solve problems on the shop floor.
Allocate components while respecting batch determination rules, use -by and revision dates, expiration dating, and other exceptions
Manage printed components including revision changes, and purchasing within lead time at the correct quantity in Systems Applications and Products
Adhere to standard work guidelines to ensure process metrics are successfully achieved
Communicate/escalate issues through the local and global tier process for resolution and corrective actions
Maintain site-related planning master data to achieve the correct planning result
Maintain the Master Data and Planning Parameters accuracy
IQV – Write Offs Management / Reporting
Profit Plan, Volume Plan submission
Product Lifecycle Management (Launch / Discontinuation)
Inventory Management
Management of Stability Sample submission program
Prepare Monthly Scorecard Reporting of Standard Key Performance Indicator`s / Metrics
Participate in Quality Audits, Deviation Management process including author and Subject Matter Expert input
Encourage Supply Chain Knowledge transfer within the site
Work cross-functionally and collaboratively to apply Continuous Improvement methodologies to drive business efficiencies

Education Minimum Requirement:
Degree / BTech. in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Science discipline
Preferably with APICs (CPIM certification )
Required Experience and Skills:
5+ years’ experience with Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling / SAP (ECC / APO) / Supply Chain Execution Management / Operations experience in a highly regulated manufacturing or packaging environment
Preferably Pharma, Manufacturing experience (plant and global)

Skills/Knowledge Required:
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced complex Pharma environment
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate with senior management
Organized and detail oriented
Self-motivated individual with ability to work autonomously and with a high degree of accuracy
Must be able to work in a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally
Strong Microsoft Office Knowledge – especially Excel
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Experience using Systems Applications and Products and SAP ECC and APO
Financial acumen with risk-based decision making
Results oriented with the demonstrated ability to apply strategic and decisive problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations
Data analytics with PivotTables, charting, etc
