Reports to (Job Title): Line Superintendent
Responsibilities:
• Conduct all quality checks – Front End, Back End, Outgoing Assessments, Tests, Specs, Internal spray film weight, Lacquer Integrity, Blushing and Adhesion, Burrows Tester and axial load tests.
• Interpret results from gauges and take corrective action.
• Ensure quality checks meet set specification.
• Report out of spec results.
• Maintain gauges in good condition.
• Quality Inspection and Testing.
• Adhere to safety Rules, report Hazards in the work area.
• Food Safety – Eliminate product Contamination.
• Housekeeping.
Requirements:
• Matric Certificate (with Mathematics and Physical Science)
• 3 years’ experience in stock handling in the FMCG industry.
• ISO 9001 or FSSC 22000 certificates will be advantageous
• Computer Literacy
• Disciplined and self-driven
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime
• Good communication skills
• Inter-personal and team interaction skills
• Good Time management
