As an Operations Learner at Givaudan, you will play a vital role in the production process, working under direct supervision to deliver production orders assigned by experienced Shift Leaders and Senior Production Operators. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of simple, manual tasks to ensure the smooth operation of designated machines and production equipment.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Production Operation:
   • Perform basic operations on machines such as blenders, sieves, spray dryer systems, and more.
   • Collect and move raw materials into production machines, following bill of materials and formula specifications.
   • Manufacture products in a safe and timely manner, adhering to predefined process instructions.
   • Accurately read control instruments and maintain neat records for all operations.
2. Troubleshooting and Quality Assurance:
   • Troubleshoot problems with guidance from experienced operators.
   • Assist in performing in-process quality testing to ensure customer specifications are met.
   • Identify and document deviations in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
3. Process Improvement:
   • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
   • Participate in Lean activities in designated areas.

Qualifications:

To thrive as an Operations Learner at Givaudan, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Grade 12 / Matric with Maths and Science.
• Forklift operation skills preferred.
• Basic math, reading, and recordkeeping skills.
• Basic PC skills, including competency in MS Office products.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
