Reports to Line Superintendent
Responsibilities:
• Assist QA with product audits.
• Ensure that pallets are transported as needed and stacked in the correct areas.
• Visually inspect each sample can for can construction, damage and quality of print and internal spray quality.
• Draw samples as per audit instruction.
• Categorise defects into critical, major or minor and record the results.
• Ensuring that equipment is at maximum availability.
• Label and scan every pallet.
• Reflect and capture any non conformance of quality defected.
• Report all potential problems (defects, trends and significant changes) to Line.
• Keep equipment in an acceptable safe and hazard free condition (clean and free from dirt and cans etc).
Requirements:
• Must have Matric or N3 certificate
• Possession of forklift truck licence would be an added advantage.
• Have the ability to function well under pressure.
• Be task and result orientated.
• Be willing to work shifts.
