The Mine Community Project Administrators (Temp) will be required to assist with the administration and quality assurance of the Mine Community Development Surplus project.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support in relation to Mine Community Development project;
• Receive documents from service providers and save the information on individual folders;
• Check information on the benefit template for accuracy;
• Prepare evidence for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting;
• Package evidence and submit to Head Office for validation and payment;
• Liaison with service providers with any matter pertaining to their contracts;
• Filing and document control; and
• Performing any other duties as may be delegated.
Requirements:
• National Diploma/Degree in Administration/HR Management/Training/Management/Operations or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification.
• A Bachelor’s degree in the above-mentioned fields or an equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience:
• At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of document management systems;
• Knowledge of key legislation or regulations such as the Mine Health and Safety Act, the Skills Development Act, etc., will be an advantage; and
• Project Management experience will be an added advantage.
Competencies:
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Good interpersonal and organisational skills;
• Good working knowledge of MS Office packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
• Attention to detail;
• The ability to work under pressure; and
• Knowledge of the mining and mineral sector will be an added advantage.
