Job Description:

Motus Toyota Strijdom Park is seeking an Apprentice Level 1 to join their team. Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is ideal for individuals with a passion for repairing motor vehicles and a desire to become a Motor Mechanic Technician. Successful candidates will undergo an Apprentice Training Programme for a maximum of four years.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting with vehicle repairs under the guidance of a Technician
• Removing and replacing vehicle parts and units
• Performing tasks such as lubrication, oil changes, and wheel removal under supervision
• Attending prescribed technical courses and level training
• Maintaining a clean work area and tools
• Following safety protocols and rules

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 with Pure Math and Physical Science
• Preference given to candidates with a Motor Mechanic Trade qualification
• A valid Driver’s License is an added advantage
• Clear Criminal Record

Skills and Personal Attributes:

• Technical skills will be advantageous
• Strong customer orientation and ability to work well in a team
