As Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for maintenance planning and administration as well as the overall engineering spares function.
You Will Be Part of Growing Team
The Corteva Rosslyn Seed Production team runs the biggest maize seed production facility in Africa that supplies South African and African seed markets with quality seed. The site is proud of its safety standards and aims to become the benchmark for quality and safety in the region.
Responsibilities:
• Planning and scheduling maintenance work for the site
• Assigning work to Artisans as directed by the Maintenance Leader
• Capturing work orders and compiling work order statistics
• Managing the engineering stores and processes to ensure adequate inventory of engineering spares
• Implementing and maintaining a computerized maintenance management system
• Compiling and distributing reports on the state and progress of maintenance to all stakeholders
• Providing technical spares support to Artisans
Key Stakeholders and Interactions:
In your role, you will be collaborating with other maintenance staff, Maintenance Leader, Maintenance Specialist and external parties to improve maintenance planning, inventory management and maintenance reporting.
Requirements:
• Matric/Grade 12 certificate
• Engineering trade certificate or Engineering Diploma
• 3 years plant maintenance experience
• Computer Literacy (MS Office)
• CMMS or Database experience will be advantageous
• Valid driving license
