An exciting opportunity exists in one of our branches for a property experienced MAINTENANCE ADMINISTRATOR.
Purpose:
To provide administrative assistance with building maintenance for Body Corporate and Home Owners Associations for the Sectional Title Department.
Objectives:
The main objectives of the Sectional Title Maintenance Administrator will be:
Achieving world class service, consistently
Effective utilization of internal systems
Detailed understanding and application of the maintenance of the Sectional Titles Act
Participate in and play an active role in the Sectional Title Division’s overall strategy and objectives
Role scope (but not limited to):
Logging of Maintenance Jobs
Logging of all maintenance calls/ requests
Handling all maintenance queries
Liaise with the maintenance contractors
Follow up on completion times
Finalization of all maintenance jobs on the maintenance module
Liaising with clients
Liaise with Portfolio Managers and Personal Assistants
Sending outstanding job list to PM’s & PA’s
Keeping track and update of the Preferred Contractors List
Assisting with obtaining quotations
Invoices
receiving Invoices & sending to relevant department for payments
Knowledge
Computer knowledge – Microsoft Office
Understanding the relevant Acts especially the Sectional Title Act
Basic understanding of the legal procedures regarding collection of rentals
Basic Accounting principles
Minimum Experience required by the position:
Matriculation
Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
Previous experience in property maintenance administration – ESSENTIAL
Good communication skills
Must work in an organised and efficient manner.
Must be able to work under pressure.
