Salary: R16,100 – R20,100 per month
Permanent Junior EE position

The position of Head Office Receptionist is vacant. The Head Office Receptionist will report directly to the SHEQ and Facilities Manager and forms part of the Corporate Services Division.

The total remuneration package for this position is R241 472 per annum.

The Head Office Receptionist will be required to provide support to the SHEQ and Facilities Manager through the implementation of the following Key Performance Areas (KPAs):

Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person on the telephone: answering or referring enquiries
• Telephonic support: Screen and direct calls, Provide correct information to callers, Taking and relaying messages
• Direct visitors
• Maintain employee and department directories
• Deal with queries from public and customers where applicable or redirect to the applicable division/person
• Ensure that the switchboard and fax facilities are monitored and report any malfunctions timeously
• Monitor visitor access in collaboration with Security
• Provide general administrative support to the Head Office: SHEQ and Facilities Manager
• Prepare correspondence and documents
• Receive and sort mail and documents
• Manage boardroom bookings
• Source quotations as per instruction
• Processing of purchase requisitions and orders
• Assist the Occupational Health and Safety team in case of emergency by calling nearest Police Station, Fire Brigade, and Ambulance Services
• Managing the foyer and reception infrastructure

Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 NQF Level 4 Qualification or Matriculation or Certificate or Diploma in Administration or Secretarial Studies
• Computer Literacy ( MS Office)
• Experience in managing a switchboard system ( hardware and software)
• Be organised and have good time management skills
• Have the ability to manage priorities
• Have excellent written , verbal and interpersonal skills
• Have ability to work well as part of a team
• Responsible, reliable and diligent work ethic
• Must be self-motivated and pro-active
