Working Environment This position requires from the incumbent to work on surface in the Plant.
THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ARE ESSENTIAL:
• Grade 12/N3
• Fitter trade test
• 5 Years’ experience on Ball mills and flotation plants
• 5 Years’ experience on Warnam/Keto/Ksb/Curo pumps
• Valid driver’s license
ALTHOUGH NOT LIMITED TO, THE INCUMBENT’S MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Ensure that good standard of safety awareness is maintained
• Ensure that section personnel comply with the requires Health and Safety and Environmental standards
• Must have a good understanding and knowledge of the Ball Mill lube system
• Must have a good understanding and knowledge of technical drawings
• Must be able to do fault finding on equipment
• Fitting maintenance on all machinery
• Must be able to attend to breakdowns and minimize down time
• Ensure good housekeeping standards and maintained
• Daily, Weekly and Monthly inspections to be done
• Must be able to work overtime when required
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must be able to complete works orders and legal inspections on time
• Good general health AND requires a certificate of fitness (red ticket).
