Responsibilities:
• Ensure full compliance of the Company Code of Conduct as well as all related SOP and Policies link to Logistics and Distribution.
• Strictly enforces health and safety standards and Road Traffic Act.
• Implement the necessary management processes to maintain high levels of cleanliness, safety, and housekeeping.
• Identify process bottlenecks – communicate, problem solve and implement innovative solutions.
• Monitor and evaluate control sheet to track performance and implement effective improvements.
• Analyzing the data to increase business and cost efficiency. Investigate efficient driver delivery routes to reduce overtime, increase fuel efficiency and reduce additional.
• Use route cause analysis to perform continuous improvement that better aligns to customer requirements.
• Manage productivity and Customer Service measures.
• Maintain highest possible level of customer service (Internal and external).
• Ensure that proper controls are exercised with the administration of full returns, credits, cancellations.
• Ensuring on time deliveries to customers, ensuring drivers follow route plan and route sequence.
• Drive Owner Driver efficiencies.
• Trackmatic KPI’s within the standards mode.
• Execute distribution plan as per PLATO using Trackmatic.
• Management of resources to reduce OT and deliver time managements reports with no illegal OT by shift alignment and proper staff rotation.
• Drivecam performance management and coaching.
• Drive and measure KPI’s that include but are not limited to:
a)Dispatch on time.
b)Return on time.
c)Delivery on time.
d)Perfect order rates.
e)Sales levels.
Requirements:
• Minimum of Grade 12.
• Preferably a Transport/Logistics/Supply Chain Diploma or Degree.
Skills:
• Strong attention to detail, Honest and reliable.
• Good knowledge of health and safety.
• Ability to problem-solve.
• Good working knowledge of excel outlook and experience using a business management software.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• After hours availability is essential.
• Good interpersonal skills, including a strong customer service mindset.
