Job Duties/Responsibilities will include:
Assist staff with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment and software in line with IT Policy

Provide one on one training on hardware and software usage when needed

Update and maintain computer inventory and surplus equipment

Backup of systems and users’ data

Maintain and resolve issues on LAN/WAN, VoIP telephone, Biometric, Video systems and other computing equipment

Ensure client computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems

Interact with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with IT equipment and software

A good understanding of Information and Communication Technology

Provide internal support in testing and deployment of new applications and systems

Candidate Requirements/ Experience:
Matric/Grade 12

2 years verifiable working experience as an IT Technician is non-negotiable

Highly adaptable and able to work in a multi-project environment

Ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients
