Purpose of the position:
To assist Department of Health facilities with data capturing and data management activities. To support the capturing, verification and reporting of TIER.Net/ETR/DHIS data at supported Health Facilities, with a specific focus on TB data. Ensure that all TB data is up to date and that any defaulters are identified and reported to THC and facility staff responsible for tracking and tracing of patients.
Responsibilities:
• Capture, record and report on all data collected from TB screening in communities and facilities
• Provide system generated data and compile daily, weekly and monthly reports to the facility, sub-district/district monthly and quarterly
• Conduct social mobilisation for demand creation
• To assist digital chest X-ray (D-CXR) programme with data capturing and data management activities.
• To support the capturing, verification and reporting of data at supported health facilities and community level, with a specific focus on TB data.
• Ensure that all data is up to date and that any linkage referrals are identified and reported to facility staff responsible for tracking and tracing of patients
• Ensure that weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports are submitted on time
Requirements:
• Grade 12
• Minimum Two (2) years’ experience in data capturing and reporting
• Experience in recording and reporting of TB and HIV data
• Knowledge of capturing data in any health M&E systems i.e. TIER.net. and/or DHIS is essential
• Experience in Microsoft packages
• Willing to travel and work after hours
• Clear criminal record
