Are you an experienced manufacturing professional with knowledge of coating processes? Nampak Closures Epping in Cape Town, South Africa is currently seeking a Coating Operator to join their team.
As a Coating Operator, you will be responsible for operating the machine efficiently with minimal spoilage and no quarantines. Your duties will include clearing wrecks and jams from the machine, loading the machine with the correct plate, and cleaning the machine on a regular basis. Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting any quality defects or shortfall in materials to your supervisor and assisting with minor technical duties during maintenance changeovers and breakdowns.
To be considered for this position, you must have at least a Grade 12 certificate and two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. You should also be a motivated team player with strong analytical abilities and a proven track record in problem solving. Quality and safety awareness is essential, and you must be prepared to work overtime and shifts.
