As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for inspecting repairs reported by residents, conducting random walk-throughs of the building and grounds to ensure cleanliness and safety, supervising cleaning of communal areas, maintaining security and safety on the property, and liaising with contractors and tradespeople. You will also be responsible for maintaining a log of materials and requisites for your duties, reporting incidents and events to management, adhering to company policies and procedures, registering residents and their guests, and assisting with monthly inspections of common property rooms. Additionally, you may be responsible for monitoring the CCTV system and performing small handyman tasks such as replacing lightbulbs and handling small plumbing issues.
To be successful in this role, you must be computer literate, able to work under pressure, and have at least 3 years of experience as a Caretaker. A Matric Certificate is also required.
