Pepsico is inviting Job Seekers to apply for the Boiler Operator Position- Savoury Foods
Responsibilities:
Safely shut down and bank the coal-fired boiler on weekends and safely fire up again before the start of the next production shift to ensure that steam line is at the correct pressure and temperature for pelleting and/or extrusion;
Perform routine preventative maintenance on selected equipment as per the Routine Preventative Maintenance Sheet and report any defects;
Ensure that Boiler House and surroundings are kept clean and tidy at all times and that the housekeeping is up to standard.
Successful candidate will also work as a Maintenance Assistant
Qualifications/Requirements:
Grade 12
NQF level
1-3 years of experience
Team work
Boiler operator lisence
Senior Certificate/ Equivalent Qualification
Experience as a boiler operator is essential
