Responsibilities:

As a Blitz Team Member, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Drive Sell Out:
    • Comply with the call cycle to ensure effective coverage.
    • Manage returned goods and follow up on damaged goods collections.
    • Provide feedback on store-specific issues.
    • Communicate and escalate stock issues, monitoring pricing in stores.
    • Confirm pricing in accordance with promotions.
    • Implement and communicate sales promotional activities.
    • Train store sales consultants.
    • Ensure all consultants are registered on MCS and drive uploads.
    • Capture required sell-out data on HHT.
  2. Effective Management of Shelf Health:
    • Count stock and determine stock to be merchandised.
    • Merchandise available stock in line with the client brief.
    • Optimize stock levels, monitor slow/fast sellers, and take appropriate action.
    • Conduct consistent quality checks and respond to poor-quality or damaged stock.
    • Keep shelves clean, tidy, and uncluttered.
    • Identify opportunities for cross-merchandising.
    • Communicate and achieve brand objectives.
    • Manage out-of-stock situations.
    • Negotiate prime positioning of Samsung products with store management.
  3. Effective Execution of Promotional Activity:
    • Communicate promotional activities to customers.
    • Negotiate POP material with store owners/managers.
    • Ensure promotional activities are implemented, maintained, and reported on.
    • Provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.
    • Monitor competitors’ new innovations.
    • Ensure in-store staff understand promotion mechanics and provide feedback to management.
    • Conduct Blitz activities when required, including assisting at new store openings and building up promotional events and displays.
  4. Effective Administration:
    • Report on competitor activities.
    • Provide feedback reports on promotional activities.
    • Ensure HHT capture compliance.
    • Compile a monthly promotional calendar.
    • Maintain assets according to company policy.
  5. Customer Service and Satisfaction:
    • Gather feedback from customer complaints, queries, and requests and ensure resolution.
    • Communicate and upkeep knowledge of promotions/product knowledge to provide advice on product use.
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications: Diploma at NQF level 5, Driver’s license (code 8).
  • Minimum Experience: 2-3 years of sales experience in consumer electronics.
