Job Advert Summary:
Rand Water is seeking a candidate to join our team as a Workshop Aide. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• 2 years relevant experience in a workshop environment
• Basic SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) knowledge

Primary Duties:
As a Workshop Aide, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing general housekeeping chores in and around the workshop
• Ensuring all workshop machinery and equipment are clean and in good working condition
• Maintaining and cleaning waste bins

Knowledge:

• General housekeeping practices
• Safety knowledge
• Basic concepts relevant to the job

Skills:

• Ability to keep the waste area clean by sweeping with a broom
• Collecting all papers and unwanted items on the ground
• Strong communication skills

Attitude:

• Performance-driven mindset
• Ability to work well in a team
• Customer service orientation
