As a Packer, you will be responsible for preparing packaging materials, packing finished products into cartons according to product specifications, inspecting finished products for defects, properly closing and stacking cartons onto pallets, and applying correct product identification labels. You will also be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in accordance with GMP rules and procedures, informing the shift supervisor of any issues or concerns, cleaning equipment and floors, filling out necessary documents, and scanning product identification labels. Additionally, you may be required to work in other profit centers in a similar role.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to communicate in basic English and have at least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing setting. You must also be willing to work overtime as needed, capable of moving items between 0 kg and 500kg, able to stand and move around for a minimum of 10 hours, able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously, and have high cleanliness standards for machines and work areas.
