Description
A Gift Wrapper is responsible for gift wrapping customer purchases at the gift stations across the precinct. Gift Wrapping is an important element of the V&A Waterfront Festive Season consumer experience as it adds the finishing touch needed to make a gift purchased truly memorable. We therefore require the services of individuals that are customer-centric, obsessed with delivering a magical customer experience for every consumer.
Responsibilities and Duties
▪ Welcome and greet customers
▪ Wrap and decorate customers’ purchases with gift-wrapping paper, ribbons, bows, and tape in a professional manner
▪ Facilitate customer payments, cash, or card via a speed point machine
▪ Ensure that consumers queue in an orderly manner, not obstructing any shop’s entrances
▪ Ensure that your workstation is always clean and presentable
▪ Assume responsibility of gift-wrapping inventory and requesting of replenishments from management

▪ Basic understanding of customer service practices
▪ Proficiency in English

▪ Must posses a rapid learning ability and be able to pick up on subtle people behaviors quickly
Requirements
▪ Must be a South African citizen
▪ Between the age of 17 and 25 years old
▪ Ability to work shifts between 15th of December to the 24th of December 2022 between 9am and 10pm daily
▪ Own transport is essential
