Rand Water is looking for candidate to assist the Motor Mechanic to service and maintain horticultural equipments, and to train staff on new Tools & Plants
Requirements from a Rand Water Workshop Assistant:
• N2 Mechanical or Matric
• 3 years experience in repairing horticultural eguipment
• Good knowledge of safe working procedures, SHE
• Valid ( EB ) code 8 driver’s license
Responsibilities of a Workshop Assistant at Rand Water:
• To assist the Motor Mechanic to service and maintain the horticultural equipments
• Responsible for perfoming routine services
• Pre – maintenance on all horticutural machines
• Minor repairs on lawnmower, chainsaws, brushcutters at various RW sites
• Stock taking of machine and spares in the workshop
• General Admin function: e.g Completing of work orders
