To support the GET Operator in the maintenance of GET equipment according to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specification and standards to ensure an effective performance contract through:
• Machine availability
• Effective customer relations
• Safety, health and environmental effectiveness
Responsibilities:
• Oversee receipt, storage and maintenance of drilling equipment and/or equipment and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
• Account for all drilling equipment and/or tools in the workshop facilities.
• Inspect and report on drilling equipment and/or tools returned by mine operator for exchange.
• Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
• Provide support to the GET Operator when:
• Conducting scheduled maintenance on GET equipment
• Performing troubleshooting on GET equipment
• Inspecting and testing drilling equipment
Requirements:
• Grade 12/N3 technical qualification
• GET Level 1 & 2 certificate of competence will be advantageous
• Understanding of drilling equipment and drilling consumables will be advantageous
• Physical & medical ability to function in a surface mining environment
• Strong EHS focus
• English proficiency
• Valid driver’s license
