Media24, part of the Naspers Group, touches the lives of millions of consumers every day through our online and print media, book publishing, online services and eCommerce platforms. We are looking for a Distribution Assistant for the Contract Logistics division to be based in our Randburg site.
Main purpose of the role:
To ensure clients packages are collected on time, in full and without any errors. Making sure the company remains within SLA both with the client and the service provider. To assist the distribution clerk with all shipments.
Responsibilities:
(The primary tasks, functions and deliverables of the role)
• Co-ordinate arrangements for special and late deliveries, and provide feedback to clients proactively
• Administer the returns done by couriers
• Monitor outstanding POD’s data and ensure they are updated on the relevant systems
• Co-ordinate tender deliveries between service provider and client
• Arrange payments for bulk distribution invoices
• Responsible for collecting and dispatching client package
• Meet all key performance indicators
Requirements:
• Matric or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years experience within a courier bookings environment
• Previous experience in distribution, logistics and admin
• Knowledge of distribution and administration
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Valid driver’s license at least code EB
