The candidate must manage an effective and efficient Time and Attendance system in the mining/construction environment where there will be more than one shift per day.
Responsibilities:
• Effective administration of T&A system, ensuring accurate capturing, data integrity and reporting
• Update the T&A system with transfers, leave, licenses etc. and submission of documentation required for payroll processing on behalf of semi-skilled and skilled employees
• Accurate AWOP, overtime and short shift reports
• Investigate and provide feedback to employee queries
• Generate and verify accuracy of daily labour reports and submit timeously to relevant stakeholders
• Maintain effective record keeping
• Proactive risk identification, escalate timeously
• Effective self and team management in alignment with M&RC values and leadership initiatives
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years T&A attendance experience, preferably in a mining/ construction environment
• MEIBC
• MS Office – especially excel
• Time and Attendance system
Competencies:
• Numerical reasoning
• Attention to details
• Ability to supervise the daily task of Time & Attendance Clerks
• Valid Medical certificate of Fitness
• Covid-19 Coronavirus Vaccination Certificate [Site Specific]
• Good English communication skills [Written and verbal]
